Hiya!
R says she can't believe it's November already.
I don't understand why not. I mean, November followed October last year, and October had 31 days in it - same as this year. So, in fact, the days counted up to November, like the minutes count up to 6pm, my supper time. So she had 31 days to prepare for November.
Silly R!

Silly R!
My dear friends, I have some terrifying news!!!
We have a monster in the house!
I know!
Alarming stuff!
I'm not talking about the vacuum cleaner - although that is pretty scary. No, this monster attacked R and gave her bruises all over her back and arms!!!
There me and R were, running around the apartment (she was going to the gym for a class and running late so getting in a tizzy).
I was close on her heels, telling her supper time was in an hours time should she have forgotten, as she ran backwards and forwards from the bedroom at the front of the apartment to the room at the back where they keep their shoes and coats.
Then bam!
The monster got her!!
(She says she fell down the two steps from the kitchen to the back room, landing on her back on the corner of the step, but I know otherwise...)
There was such a loud commotion! I was terrified!
I raced away from the monster as fast as I could, running smack bam into the kitchen table leg as I did so. I was dazed, but couldn't stop in case the monster was coming after me!
I shot to the safety of the bedroom, where I then peered cautiously around the doorframe to see if the monster was coming.
I would not move from my viewing position, even when R stood up and called me to tell me the monster had gone. In the end she had to pick me up and showed me there was no monster there anymore.
I wasn't convinced...
You will be pleased to hear I soon recovered from my fright. Think R is still sore, but a bad back is nothing - she had a lucky escape if you ask me!
