Although the Autumn equinox isn't until March 20th, in Australia - and New Zealand - Autumn officially starts on the 1st March.
So I thought rather than talking about this week, which has mostly been filled with routine stuff...
...I would look back over the summer.
We spent many hours by the sea
and visited a new beach, one we had driven past most weeks but had never stopped at
There were, of course, many Sunday mornings spent in the early morning light due to surfing
It has been a summer of stunning evening sunsets
Keeping an eye on the neighbours kept some of us very busy
The warm Christmas day would have melted any snowmen
Boxing day was spent watching the Sydney to Hobart yacht race
We ventured out of the city, and saw many kilometres of beautiful New South Wales...
...as well as miles of beach, including 7-Mile Beach
We took many walks along the Harbour, happening to come across the Extreme Racing Series on one of them
We always paused to take in the iconic Sydney skyline...
...remembering just how lucky we are
Yes, it's certainly been a good summer.
