- On Saturday T and I walked into downtown Sydney, through the neighbouring suburbs before walking across the Harbour bridge. That felt a little bizarre to be honest! Oh, and the bridge is pretty long! But the views from it are pretty stunning...
- There I was on Tuesday morning, minding my own business sat on the balcony studying, introducing my white legs to sunshine believing no one would be witness to their brightness, when lo and behold a man appeared in the tree outside, the height of the balcony.
The view from our apartment is better, but I was quite fond of that tree!
- We feasted off our balcony garden one night...well, we were able to share a small salad consisting of home-grown spinach and beetroot leaves, sprinkled with herbs. The peas are now flowering, but I have a feeling it will be like the beans in Montreal last year, and we will have one each at a time...
- The birds out here do not miss a trick. I had put lunch out on the table on the balcony and gone to fetch a jumper (the constant breeze is pretty refreshing at the moment)...when I returned literally a minute later, two birds were sat on the railings about to dive right in. Where was Albie? Asleep, of course.
- After Albie's escaping act last week, we have found a temporary solution to prevent him from going onto next doors balcony, and accessing the scaffolding. Much better than the various boxes plugging up the gaps. The fun really starts when the scaffolding goes up our side... I was going to show you with a photo, but the decorators are on the balcony, and all so what was out on the balcony, is now in the living room, including the Albie-escaping-solution...
