Hello!
R has asked me to post again. I knew you'd be excited to hear that!
You will also be excited, as I am, about the fact it is Saturday and no suitcases have made an appearance...
I haven't been out and about much this past week; it's been far too cold and snowy out there.
I made it as far as the back door step on a number of occasions, full of intentions of going out, but as soon as the freezing air tickled my nose I turned tail and made firm claims I was a house cat.

Inside isn't all that bad to be honest. I have invented some great games!
One of my favourites is tipping my water dish up slightly and then letting it fall back down, and watching the ripples in the water move back and forth in the dish.
Totally mesmerizing!
R does tell me off occasionally though, as sometime I tip the dish too far and all the water escapes onto the floor...

I am also fantastic with a ball!
I cause it all the way around the apartment; from time to time failing to stop when I reach a wall and crash smack bam! into it; but it's all part of the game!

I was a bit miffed on discovery that staying in all day Sunday, I therefore missed Groundhog Day.
I love groundhogs!
I remember my adventures with the Groundhog family in the summer, that was so much fun!

Apparently the Canadian groundhogs gave mixed results, Two - Shubenacadie Sam and Fred la Marmotte (what great names, guys!) - came out of their holes and didn't see their shadow, meaning an early spring is just around the corner (yey!), but one - Wiarton Willie - did see his shadow, meaning six more weeks of winter! Aargh! Wiarton Willie - why would you predict that?! That's not nice!!!
The Environment agency are agreeing with Wiarton Willie, and saying the cold will stay throughout February!

R has been out and about a lot this week, so for the most part I have been sleeping..
I don't mind.
I do love sleeping!
I heard her ring the vets the other day - don't know what that was all about. Don't think I want to know to be honest. Yes...best not to think about it...

R's also been playing a lot of squash.
I love playing squash!
I used to play it a lot in the summer with Whiggin. One of us would jump on the other one and squash them!
Happy times!
I don't know why R doesn't take me with her - I am a champion squasher!

I do miss seeing my friends. I look out of the window to see if I can spot Grey and Black, but they haven't been outside since way back in November.
The squirrels do provide some entertainment as they run up and down the branches.
The are crazy though - why aren't they inside!?

I was a little tired at the beginning of the week I have to say.
For two nights in a row we were woken up at around 4-5 in the morning by such a commotion outside the front of the house. It sounded like the bin lorries (they are very scary!), but then whatever was making the noise would move on up the street, as it faded a rumbling-scraping sound which shook the room came closer.
I was tempted to go to the window and peer out to see what on earth was making the sound. But then decided against it and stayed firmly between R and T in the bed.
Thankfully the monsters made their way past the house without stopping.
R and T said it was the clearing of the snow. I am not so sure...

Well, my friends. I am off to have a nap.
Have a good weekend!
