We drove to the Blue Mountains on Saturday. It was a bit of a soggy affair, but the fresh country air - it was 10 degrees! Around 12 degrees cooler than in Sydney - woke us up. It is definitely looking like Autumn there!
The surf report for Sunday wasn't good (apparently), but we still went to the beach - although somewhat later than usual for a Sunday - for a walk and some fresh sea air.
I had an interview in the city, and caught the ferry in. It was one of those 'pinch me' moments - I never thought I would be dressed in work clothes, cruising past the Opera House on a ferry as a commute!
After months of searching, I was offered three (!) jobs this week, What is a girl to do - apart from a little celebratory retail therapy (well, when in the city and all...)
Albie and Ralph are very much in brotherly-love:
