- Needless to say, our Monday was a quiet day, whilst our legs and feet recovered from our walk...
- I have been busy this week! I love being busy (the M.E, not so much...). I have started doing work experience! As much as I would have loved to jump head first into a job, my CV is perhaps not the most appealing to employers, largely thanks to the M.E not allowing me to work much since I left school. I view working as one of those forbidden things - which makes it so appealing. I may not like the work, they may not like me, the M.E. may not like it (and it did have a hiccup on Wednesday night, sending out the nausea guns)...but whatever happens, I am sure I will take something away from the whole experience. You've got to start somewhere.
- There has been a couple of 30-plus degree days this week. And summer is still a month away... The crickets are out in the evenings now, which I love - I think their chirping is one of my favourite sounds.
- Albie joined us for breakfast on the terrace the other day - complete with live cockroach he had found on next door's balcony. Breakfast was eaten with feet off the ground...
- Instead of the October tree colour of golden reds and yellows, there is a beautiful blue-purple hue across the valley at the moment, thanks to the Jacarandas.
