Hello!
R's been super busy doing her relocation thing this past week so has left it to me to write again.
I also write better than her when tired. I know - I am just too good!
T has been on the late shift this week, which means we are all tired:
T is tired 'cos he's been working over twelve hour days until 3am.
R is tired 'cos she is never able to sleep until T gets home.
I am tired 'cos R's tossing and turning disturbs me greatly. Although we - Ok, they - have a king-size bed, I absolutely insist on sleeping on R's feet, or arm, or back... But this does mean whenever she moves, she wakes me up.
I know!
Mean!

I don't know about you, but I find when I am very tired I get really hungry. Therefore, I have been asking for breakfast from 7.30am onwards. I am usually fed 8.30 - 9am, but I'm so tired-hungry I just cannot wait that extra hour! R and T don't share this feeling though, and bizarrely seem to want to sleep more instead of have breakfast at that time.
Surely, it makes sense to get up and have some food, then a play, and then sleep for the rest of the day?? R could sleep on the bus or lean against the wall in the squash court and have a snooze, and T could surely sneak in a nap or two at his desk?

This thing that R was doing - helping people people new to Montreal register and get around - well, between you and me, I just don't get it to be honest.
Registering for the medical insurance - why do that?! I presume the doctors is just another name for a human vet. Whenever I have been to the vet they have made me feel so sore or ill - so why go???
Social Security Number - I have Social Security. It's called friends. Big friends with huge paws and sharp claws, and a mean miaow. I didn't have to go and queue up for it though - I just asked around the 'hood and found it myself the second day I was outside. I don't have their number - I just miaow for them. So much simpler!
Housing - why are humans so fussy about where they live? As long as it's warm and dry, with the odd sunny spot to lie in, close to food (in that I mean a family down the street who throw away loads of food) - what more do you need? They insist on having parking spots, it being clean, and not too expensive... and surely if the place come with mice that's a bonus?!
Things have got cold here...
R and T warned me the outside temperature was the same as the freezer.
I got excited, as I have seen them put meat and fish in their freezer.
Albie's love meat and fish!

I shot outside. And skidded to a halt.
Brr!
I puffed myself up so I resembled something between a weeble and a furby, and picked my way down the spiral staircase to the alley below.I was a bit disappointed to be honest, as yes it may have felt like a freezer, but it wasn't actually a freezer - there was no food to be seen!

What else have I been up to?
Oh yes - a little embarrassing - R and T caught me out the other day. They had nipped out to get some brandy for the cake (which they proceeded to drink, and I didn't see any offered to the cake), and came home whilst I was watching a bit of cookery on the laptop. I do love a bit of Micheal Roux Jr.
Mmm...the dishes he was cooking looked so good...
Talking of which, my favourite food at the moment is... Cornflakes!! They are so delicious!!
Well, time to go and catch up on some sleep...
