The 2km stretch of coastal walk from Bondi to Tamarama has been transformed for two weeks by artists from across the globe.
Featuring over 100 sculptures, this free exhibition is in its 19th year, and runs from 22nd October to 8th November.
We thought we would be clever and avoid the weekend crowds. First thing on Monday morning (after avoiding rush hour traffic across the Harbour Bridge) shouldn't be so busy...

From the 25,000 visitors in its first year in 1997, 500,000 are expected this year, So we would never have it all to ourselves...

The works of art are positioned on the sandstone, the grass, the sandy beaches, and in the ocean, which does make for a stunning and unusual art gallery.
If you are in Europe and can't get to Bondi in the next week, or Cottesloe (Western Australia) in March, don't fear - there is also a Sculpture by the Sea in Denmark...!
