- Sunday was a scorcher - over 40 degrees! We did what any local would do, and headed down to our local beach - after I had worked for a couple of hours. In smart clothes. Outside. I melted!! Plus, I spent the last 30 minutes trying to decide if my little 'friend' was friendly or deadly...
G'day folks! It's been a while, I know.
R has been hogging the posts. But for the past fortnight she has been so busy she has hardly been in the house. I know! Poor me! But wait!!! It's awesome actually, as T is staring at his computer thingy all day - at home! Yey! And he never tells me off, unlike R. Well, unless I walk over his keyboard. Which I do on a regular basis. Or miaow when he's on the phone to his work. Which I also do quiet often. So, whilst R apologizes to you for leaving me to entertain you (why is she apologizing?!), I will tell you about all I have been up to recently. And it has been a lot...
Whilst unpacking and delicately placing (i.e. shoving) clothes into the wardrobe and chests of drawer - and then breaking off to assemble more shelving for inside the wardrobes (something which T later went around hammering so the joints were flush - yes I saw you T...!) - I could remember where I had bought the majority of the items. In my wardrobe: River Island = UK It appears as though I have had a favourite shop in each country, and then when we move I go excitingly into that shop in the new country, and be disappointed with what they stock. I then, after putting the whole clothes shopping thing off until I really need to get something, go around and try different makes until I come across another make to call upon as my old faithful. This takes time, especially as I am not that into shopping in new shops - I like to go where I know the style of clothes is to my liking, and that the sizes fit me. Walking around venturing into each and every shop which sells clothes is not my ideal way of spending my day - it's very tiring.
I jumped out of bed this morning, despite not having the best nights sleep. I am so excited! Why? Because this: Turned into this;
Friday already? Where did that time go?!!
It's a Small World... is two years old! I can't believe I have been rambling on to you for so long! Although I guess a lot has happened in that time really; including living in two countries of this small world...
