Although it was stunning around St Saveaur, and seeing the colours in the forests which stretch on as far as the eye can see, in the midst of the city the palette of colour was still fantastic.
We walked up 'the mountain' which turned out to be pretty green compared other areas of the city. The earthy smell of the damp undergrowth and decaying leaves, mixed with the freshness of the air meant it felt like Autumn/Fall, whatever you call it.

The ninety-minute long walk, in the bright sunshine and not a cloud in the sky by the last leg, showed off fall in the city to the best possible way. It was very hard to imagine in only a few months we will be doing it wrapped up in many layers of clothes, and there will be a blanket of snow covering everything...
